Discussion:
What jacket did Bill Bixby wear in "The Incredible Hulk"?

As Dr. David Banner in "The Incredible Hulk", Bill Bixby can
occasionally be seen wearing a khaki(?) jacket with lapels, two
buttoned down pockets (one on the bottom of each side of the front of
the jacket), with another two pockets (one on each side of the
jacket), and a flap that covers the jacket's zipper. An image of this
can be seen here:

Can anyone supply me with information about the jacket, like what type
of jacket it might be? Who manufactured it? The jacket in the image
(of which I've supplied the URL) appears to be the same as the one
which can be seen during the opening credits of each episode, when
David Banner stands over his gravestone.

I've spent a considerable amount of time on eBay trying to find a
similar jacket but have had no luck. I've used search terms like
vintage, retro, jacket (of course), coat, khaki, tan, -leather,
collar, lining, m (medium), l (large), Bill Bixby, and I don't know
what else, all to no avail. The same can be said using Google's search
engine. I haven't scoured any thrift stores yet due to my work
schedule but intend to do so over the weekend. But I would like to
simplify my online search as much as possible and keep it as an
option. It's been a frustrating option, however, due to the very
little I know of the jacket.

I'm asking about the jacket because it's that time of year again that
gives me an excuse to wear a costume. This year I've chosen something
simple for Halloween: to dress up as David Banner from, obviously, one
of my favorite TV shows, "The Incredible Hulk".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No idea, although a tailor or seamstress can probably make something
similar if you provide enough screencaps. Or you can always do
something simple like wear a badly shredded shirt and go barefoot. Then
you'd be David Banner after he reverts from the Hulk. Just act dazed
and tell people you don't remember what you did the last few minutes.
